Guest bookings will be taken Monday to Thursday only, subject to availability. The Green Fee includes breakfast on
arrival for guests playing before 11.00 am and afternoon tea for guests playing after 12.30pm. Guests playing both
courses in one day will receive both breakfast and afternoon tea.
PAYMENT
Green Fees must be prepaid and payment must be received within14 days of invoice date or if made within 14 days
of play must be fully pre-paid prior to arrival to confirm the reservation. Payment may be settled by debit /creditcard,
bank transfer or cheque. American Express is not accepted.
CANCELLATION
There
will be no refund of green fees cancelled within THREE MONTHS of play.
Subject to availability,
cancellations may be rescheduled within 12 months of the original booking date.
UPON ARRIVAL
Guests should contact the Secretariat up to one week in advance of their booking to request the front gate and changing room security code for the day. On the day Guests should check-in for their round in the Club Professional’s shop, leaving their golf clubs in the racks outside the Caddiemaster’s office. Once in the Clubhouse we request that guests make themselves known to a member of staff in the Critchley Bar and proceed to the visitors changing room on the first floor.
TEES
All guests must play from the Yellow tees (Old Course par 70, 6063 yds, New Course par 70, 6083 yds.) Ladies will play from the Red tees (Old Course par 74, 5825 yds, New Course par 74, 5840 yds.)
CATERING
Luncheon is served from12pm to 2.30 pm and tables should be reserved in advance. Toasted tea cakes and crumpets are served from 2.30pm to 6pm in the Critchley Bar. The halfway house is situated after the 10th hole on both courses and is open to 5.30pm, serving a selection of refreshments and hot and cold snacks.
HANDICAP
Only players with a certified club handicap are allowed to play (maximum = men 18, ladies 24). The Courses are
not suitable for novice golfers or beginners. A current Handicap Certificate must be produced when signing in.
COURSE ORDER
On Monday one course is designated the two ball course until 3 pm. In Winter months there is a course order in
operation every day. Please check when booking a tee time.
CLUBHOUSE DRESS
Men are requested to wear jackets in the dining room. Smart casual wear is required in the bars. Jeans are NOT
ALLOWED either in the Clubhouse or on the course. Tailored shorts may be worn at the Club provided they are
worn with either plain coloured knee length socks or white sports socks which cover the ankle. You may arrive changed for golf but no golf shoes may be worn in the bar.
MOBILE PHONES
Use of mobile phones is forbidden on the Golf Course as well as in the Club House and surrounding area
Mobile’s may only be used in the changing room or car park.
LOST PROPERTY
Items of clothing and shoes left behind will be stored for 3 months and if claimed will be subject will be subject to a
£10.00 administration charge to cover postage, and will be posted on receipt of a cheque and full address.
